Re-read your favorite books

Reading favorite books again and again

"There are 10 different books on the same topic but you can learn most of the things from 1 if you know how to read."

I love re-reading my favorite books, currently, I am re-reading The Art of Focus by Dan Koe, perhaps one of the greatest books on human philosophy and human potential.

Books are the only thing where you gain genuine theoretical knowledge but, make sure you execute them in the world, knowledge without execution is just like eating without exercising.

When you re-read the books you love to read I can guarantee you, that you will learn more from them than if you read a different book on that same topic why? Because people only pay attention to what they like.

The second time when you read the same book, this time you will again gain information from it because now you see things from a more informative lens and a bigger perspective on what you can take out from this material.

There's a saying when you want a new idea in your life, business, or anything else, it goes something like this:

"If you want a new idea, read an old book."

Some books are worth reading 10 times and some aren't worth a single time. Develop the habit of reading, read the book you love even if it's fictional who cares.

Make sure when you're re-reading the same book don't pile up notes at the same place take them at a different place with a different (structure) hook and body.

You don't read books you read the author's mind when you're holding his book in your hands, the thoughts of the author, creativity level, and thinking quality.

Some books to always re-read from my personal opinion

  • The almanac of Naval Ravikant by Eric Jorgenson

  • The Personal MBA by Josh Kaufman

  • The Art of Focus by Dan Koe

  • Atomic Habits by James Clear

  • 8 Rules of Love by Jay Shetty

That’s it for this newsletter

Thank you for reading,
